Nurturing Families Network

The Nurturing Families Network (NFN) program helps new and expecting parents learn how to care for their baby and adjust to the challenges of parenthood.Home visits are given to first-time mothers, aged 25 and younger, with a child below three months of age. Parenting education, childhood development information, and case management services are provided during these visits. The Nurturing Parents Group and Prenatal Group, open to caregivers with at least one child from birth to five years of age, offer a supportive environment to teach families successful parenting techniques. NFN is a program of the State of Connecticut’s Children’s Trust Fund.
